
The 3 Principles underlying all change...
Key elements in all transformations include the three principles of Intention, Awareness, and Action.
Intention: this is the desire and the motivation to move towards something. It is stated in positive terms( what you are moving towards, not what you are moving away from).
Awareness: both physical and psychological. Most people have little awareness of the mental tendencies which block good performance and good living.
Action: Without action, nothing gets done. As Yoda once said: "there is no 'try', there is only 'do'." You are "doing", not "trying to do". "Trying" implies doubt, and it allows it on an unconscious level. Allowing such things is like allowing weeds to grow in your garden. Soon they crowd out the plants.
Plant the best plants in your mental garden. This will come from conscious action, action with awareness. With proper practice, these will grow, and by understanding mental structures, you will know how to weed your garden regularly.
